Terms of Service

Pay Signal, a service of Altshuler Family Holdings, LLC. Last updated: October 2026.

1. What Pay Signal is

Pay Signal is a client payment-behavior database for freelancers and agencies. Contributors anonymously log payment records (client company, invoice terms, days to pay). Pay Signal aggregates those records into client-level statistics: Pay Scores, median days to pay, late frequency, dispute rates, and peer notes. Pay Signal is an information service. It is not a collections service, not a credit bureau, and not financial advice.

2. Plans

3. Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Annual plans are refundable in full within the first 30 days of purchase. Monthly plans are not prorated on cancellation. See the Refund Policy for details.

4. Your records and acceptable use

5. How scores work, and their limits

Pay Scores and client statistics are statistical aggregations of contributor-reported records. Client profiles publish only after multiple independent contributors have logged records for that client, and no single invoice, amount, or contributor is ever visible alone. Dispute flags are labeled as contributor-reported, not verified facts. Scores reflect patterns across many invoices, not any one person's account, and they can be wrong. Use them as one input among others when deciding who to work with.

6. Disclaimers and liability

Pay Signal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any score or statistic. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altshuler Family Holdings, LLC is not liable for business decisions you make based on Pay Signal data, or for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
